Elections 2023–24: ATypI board of directors

Voting is now open to elect the ATypI board of directors for this cycle. Nominations were held August 1–18, 2023. There are eight board seats available in this election—four with terms beginning September 1, 2023, and four with terms beginning January 1, 2024. Term length for each is three years.

Each of the following candidates is standing for election for a three-year term running September 1, 2023, through August 31, 2026.

Each of the following candidates is standing for election or re-election for a three-year term running January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2026.

Each candidate was asked the same set of questions and was asked to provide the same set of assets. Please review the materials provided by each candidate to assist you in assessing their qualifications.

You must be a current ATypI member and logged in to your account in order to vote. Voting is not required, but it is encouraged to help ensure that each ATypI member has a voice in choosing their representatives on the board.

Voting for candidates for the ATypI board of directors takes place online. Voting for this election closes Thursday, August 31, 2023, at 11:59 pm (23:59) US Pacific Daylight Time (EDT)(Seattle/Los Angeles/Portland). This is Friday. September 1, 6:59 am UTC time.

Each current, eligible dues-paying ATypI member must log in to their ATypI.org account in order to vote. Votes will be recorded and tabulated using the Crowd Signal plugin for WordPress. Members may only submit their voting form once. Voting is anonymous.

The eight candidates receiving the most valid votes will be elected or re-elected to the ATypI board of directors. If a candidate standing for election does not receive any “yes” votes, they will not be elected or re-elected. If a candidate receives more “no” votes than “yes” votes, they will not be elected or re-elected.

Candidates will be informed of the results on September 1, 2023.

Results of the election will be announced to the public by Monday, September 11, 2023.
