Become an ATypI Supporter

The ATypI Supporter Program is a way to contribute to the long-term stability of the Association Typographique Internationale.

ATypI Supporters help sustain ATypI’s ongoing activities, including conferences, educational initiatives, the Country Delegates network, publications, and community projects that support typography worldwide.

ATypI Supporter contributions are made on a yearly basis and are intended for studios, foundries, companies, institutions, and individuals who wish to support the organisation beyond membership.

ATypI Supporters are publicly recognised for their support, but the program does not include promotional or sponsorship benefits.

Contribution levels

The ATypI Supporter Program has three suggested yearly contribution levels, which are dependent entirely on your capabilities and generosity.

• Minion – $500 per year
• Brevier – $1000 per year
• Bourgeois – $1500 per year

Support is renewed yearly and can be cancelled at any time.

Why support ATypI

ATypI is the only long-standing international organisation dedicated exclusively to typography, type design, and typographic research.

Since 1957, ATypI has provided a neutral platform connecting professionals, educators, students, and organisations across writing systems, cultures, and disciplines.

In recent years, ATypI has expanded its activities beyond the annual conference, developing new programs focused on education, community building, and international collaboration.

The ATypI Supporter Program helps make these activities possible and allows ATypI to remain independent, international, and community-driven.

What support makes possible

Support from the community helps fund:

• The international ATypI conference series
• The relaunch of the Country Delegates program
• Educational and mentoring initiatives
• Publications and research projects
• Student support and outreach
• Development of new programs and partnerships
• Organisational and administrative work required to maintain ATypI as a global platform

ATypI Supporter contributions are not tied to a specific conference, but support the association as a whole.

Recognition

ATypI Supporters are acknowledged as part of the ATypI community.

Recognition includes:

• Name listed on the ATypI website (Supporters section)
• Name listed in conference programs during the year
• Inclusion on slides shown at ATypI events
• Recognition in ATypI communications

ATypI Supporters may choose to be listed publicly or remain anonymous.

The ATypI Supporter Program does not include logo placement, tickets, exhibition space, or promotional features.
