Tolong Siki: The script of the indigenous Kurux people of Jharkhand, India

The Kurux language traces its language origins to that of Dravidian family. 23rd most spoken language having a ratio of 0.17% according to 2001census in India. Second largest tribal language spoken in the state of Jharkhand.

Kurux literature has been developing and various writing works are taking place:

Research work has been going well.
Inspiration by the foreign missionaries and authors, tribal people are awakening and interesting in area of literature.
Released close to decade back on May 15, 1999.

Earlier the Latin or Devanagari script was employed for recording them. The concept is from nature and tribal lifestyle.

The project thereafter. Raised questions of much larger issue in terms of language and new scripts. The further course of action developing these in weights and making a family.
