Speaker Ritik Shah

Ritik Shah is a graphic and information designer currently working at Applied Information Group. He has a background in typography, editorial design, and wayfinding, and completed an MA in Information Design at the University of Reading, graduating with distinction. Ritik is particularly interested in how design can improve urban life, from making public transport systems more intuitive to supporting walkability and clearer navigation in complex environments. His approach is research-led and user-centred, with a strong focus on legibility, accessibility, and the role of multiscript typography in public spaces. Drawing on both professional and academic experience, Ritik combines analytical thinking with design sensitivity to create solutions that are effective, inclusive, and meaningful for the people who use them.
