Speaker Laurent Ungerer
Né en 1962, il se forme à l’École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris, puis à la Glasgow School of Art et à l’Istituto Europeo di Design à Milan.
Il rejoint en 1985 l’agence de création visuel design Jean Widmer à Paris. Pendant dix ans, il y exerce une activité de graphiste centrée sur la création d’identités visuelles dans le domaine culturel.
Il fonde l’agence de design c-album en 1996 et partage sa plateforme de travail avec l’agence de scénographie NC Nathalie Crinière avec qui il collabore sur de nombreux projets de muséographie, notamment pour la signalétique du Louvre à Abou Dhabi.
Il collabore régulièrement avec la RATP pour la création d’événements éphémères dans les stations du métro parisien. Sous la direction de Anne Baldassari, il travaille sur la nouvelle ligne graphique du Musée Picasso qui ouvre ses portes en octobre 2014. En 2015 il remporte la consultation portant sur la refonte de l’identité visuelle de l’ICOM ainsi que celle de la Comédie Française sous la direction de Eric Ruf. En 2019, pour le Museum national d’histoire naturelle il réalise une mission de conseil sur l’évolution de son identité visuelle et son architecture de marque et crée une typographie institutionnelle.
Il enseigne à l’EnsAD depuis 1992.

In 1985 he joined the Jean Widmer visual design agency in Paris. For ten years, he worked as a graphic designer creating visual identities in the cultural field.
He founded the design agency c-album in 1996 and shares his work platform with the scenography agency NC Nathalie Crinière with whom he collaborates on numerous museography projects, notably for the signage of the Louvre in Abu Dhabi.
He regularly collaborates with the RATP for the creation of ephemeral events in the Parisian subway stations. Under the direction of Anne Baldassari, he worked on the new graphic line of the Picasso Museum which opened in October 2014. In 2015 he won the consultation for the redesign of the visual identity of the ICOM and the Comédie Française under the direction of Eric Ruf. In 2019, for the National Museum of Natural History, he is consulting on the evolution of its visual identity and brand architecture and creating an institutional typography.
He has been teaching at EnsAD since 1992.
In 2020, the Diocese of Paris entrusts c-album with the mission of signage and visual identity for the Notre Dame site.”
