Dr Dominique Falla is an Australian academic and researcher with over 25 years of experience in design education. As an Associate Professor at Griffith University, she develops innovative curricula and mentors design and business students. In 2013, she founded Typism—an online community united by their shared love of letterforms. Typism publishes books and hosts summits, conferences, and online workshops dedicated to helping lettering artists and type designers build their profiles and further their careers. Dr Falla completed her Doctorate (DVA) at Griffith University, where her research into Tactile Typography garnered international recognition, establishing her as a leading creative practitioner.
