Nominations for election to the ATypI board of directors for terms beginning September 2023 and January 2024 are now open.
The election will be conducted online. All current dues-paying ATypI members in good standing are eligible to run for a seat on the board, and current paid members are also eligible to vote in the election.
There are a total of eight board seats to be contested in this election.
Set One: Four board seats will be open in this group, with three-year terms beginning September 1, 2023. Three seats are currently held by board members who have completed two consecutive three-year terms, which is the limit allowed by the ATypI bylaws. These members are not eligible to run for another board term at this time. The fourth board seat in this set is open due to the resignation of a board member before the completion of their term.
Set Two: There are four current board members whose first three-year terms will expire on December 31, 2023. If they wish to seek a second term, these board members must stand for re-election by the ATypI membership. Other ATypI members in good standing and current on dues are eligible and encouraged to run. Three-year terms for these four board seats will begin on January 1, 2024.
ATypI members standing for election must specify which set of board seats they wish to be considered for. The self-nomination form will require candidates to state whether they are running for a seat from Set One or Set Two.

The deadline to submit the self-nomination form is 11:59 pm Eastern Daylight Time (New York), Friday, August 18, 2023.
Election setup and member voting will take place August 19–30, 2023.
Successful candidates will be notified on September 1, 2023.
Election results will be announced on September 11, 2023.
