Visa Application Guidelines for ATypI 2025 Copenhagen and Requesting a Letter of Support from ATypI

Please note that visa requirements for entering Denmark vary depending on your nationality. Citizens of most EU/EEA member states and North American countries generally do not need a visa for short stays; however, we strongly recommend verifying your individual status through the official website of the Danish Immigration Service at www.nyidanmark.dk

If your country of origin is listed among those requiring a visa, please begin the application process as early as possible, as it may take several weeks for the Danish authorities to review and approve your documents. You will likely need to visit the nearest Danish embassy or consulate to submit your application, which may include items such as a valid passport, proof of accommodation, and sufficient financial means for your stay.

If you are participating in the ATypI 2025 Copenhagen conference as a speaker or attendee and require an official invitation letter, you may request one by completing the form at this link. Letters of invitation are issued in English and typically take between 10 days and 2 weeks to process.

Please ensure that all details provided in your request (such as your full name, passport information, and travel dates) are accurate, as these details will be reflected in the invitation letter. Remember that receiving an invitation letter does not guarantee visa approval; it merely serves as a supporting document for your application. Should you need any additional guidance or support, we encourage you to contact the Danish embassy or consulate in your region, or consult the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs website for the most current information regarding an entry and stay in Denmark.

We look forward to welcoming you to Copenhagen on April 22, 2025, and appreciate your cooperation in ensuring that all necessary travel arrangements are in place.
