Call for proposals for ATypI 2024 Brisbane now open

ATypI invites submission of program proposals for our upcoming in-person conference: ATypI 2024 Brisbane, April 16–20, 2024. If you’re passionate about typography and have valuable insights to share, we encourage you to participate. Submissions deadline: October 13, 2023.

Vote for new 2023–24 ATypI board members

Voting is now open to elect the ATypI board of directors for this cycle. Nominations were held August 1–18, 2023. Candidates running are Nada Abdallah, Laurence Penney, Marek Z. Jeziorek, Clare Bell, Sumanthri Samarawickrama, Carima El-Behairy, Jordan Bell, and Tetsuo Sakomura. ATypI de-adopts Vox-ATypI typeface classification system

Global typography nonprofit withdraws endorsement of system it adopted in 1962, will convene exploratory working group surrounding classification.
