Drinks and vessels: For ecology’s sake, and to help keep our venue clean, please carry and use the same coffee cup all day. At the end of the day, you will put your mug on a tray to be picked up and cleaned. We will do this every day. This is the Danish way, and we love it! Thank you for doing it, too.

Water: We have water fountains throughout the venue. Take advantage and hydrate! Buy a reusable  water bottle  to carry with you during the conference.

Badges: Wear it all the time! This is mandatory and badges help keep people safer. Safety and security matter here.

Safety: Speaking of safety, we want you to be safe! If you are being harassed, harmed, or threatened in any way, go to the registration desk and ask for a Safety Officer to assist you. If you feel your situation requires jaw enforcement, tell the staff at the registration desk. Or you may call the emergency police number yourself:

For emergencies (including crimes in progress), dial 112.

Moving around: We do have two tracks, but speakers and the audience will appreciate it if you only enter ir leave an auditorium r between blocks of talks. Kind

Agenda: Some sessions and speakers moved in the program. Please check the online program for the latest info.

There is a great deal of info on the dedicated Copenhagen section of our website. Go there to find speakers, local info, and more!

The most important thing to remember: We want you to enjoy the conference. We hope you have an incredible experience in beautiful Copenhagen. Our ATypI family and our local hosts at the Royal Danish Academy and our ATypI family extend our warmest welcome to you.

Carima El-Behairy, ATypI president, is onsite to meet you and answer questions. She is the lead of the moderator team, and will be onstage to welcome you to our annual conference, our third in Copenhagen, along with our conference local chair, Sofie Beier,  and Anders Thulin, Head of Institute of Visual Design at the Academy, will welcome you to their city and our beautiful venue, their school.

There are a number of ATypI board members at the conference—we hope you will get to know them. Some are moderators. Some are speakers. Some are in the audience. Check badges to see who’s who in the audience.

our apologies for any errors and changes to the schedule. Some of it is beyond our control due to travel issues and emergencies among our super wonderful group of speakers. All our speakers are delighted to be in Copenhagen and share their work and insights with you. We are trying very hard to keep this to a minimum.

Please contact our amazing volunteers and staff if you need anything. Say hello to a newbie! Thank you.
