Dr. Niels Jørgen Cappelørn is director of The Søren Kierkegaard Research Center (SKC} and as such responsible for the daily operations of the Center.
SKC is an independent foundation, basicly financed by a grant from the Danish National Research Foundation for a second 5 year period, till 2003.
The Center has a Board of Directors, its chairman and vice chairman being appointed by the National Research Foundation. Other members of the Board are appointed by the University of Capenhagen, the Society for Danish Language and Literature, and the Royal Library.
