From 28–31 October 2026, the international typography community comes together at the University of the Arts Sharjah for four days of talks, keynotes, workshops, exhibitions, tours, live demos, a book fair, and cultural evenings.
Under the theme Between: Tradition · Transition · Transformation, the conference brings together speakers and participants from around the world to explore typography across scripts, languages, cultures, technologies, and design practices.
This is ATypI’s first conference in Southwest Asia and North Africa, and an opportunity to experience Sharjah through its creative, cultural, and typographic landscape.
