Peter Constable is a Senior Program Manager at Microsoft for Typography and Globalization Standards. He maintains the OpenType specification for Microsoft and, in 2016, led the cross-industry initiative to develop the variable font extensions to OpenType. Constable is also active in Unicode and ISO standards related to character and language coding.
Si Daniels
Si Daniels, a graduate of the Department of Typography and Graphic Communication at The University of Reading, UK, has been working on type and typography projects at Microsoft since 1997. After managing the Microsoft Operating Systems Group’s fonts and icon team (where he was responsible for the icon refresh across Windows 10, Phone, and Xbox), Daniels moved to the Microsoft Office design team in 2015. He is currently responsible for the Office font set and contributes to font-related user experiences across Microsoft’s productivity apps.
