Tetsuo Sakomura, who majored in photography at Parsons School of Design, worked in that field for a half-decade. He then shifted to a career in design management, joining Tokyo-based Morisawa Inc. in 2016. Officially titled Manager of Design Planning Section, Sakomura works in overseas business and is a facilitator and advocate for the type community. He has collaborated with domestic and international museums, planning exhibitions, creating tools to evangelize content educationally, and managing design teams.
