ATypI 2025 Copenhagen: A Celebration of Type, Technology, and Global Voices

ATypI 2025 Copenhagen
ATypI 2025 Copenhagen

ATypI Copenhagen brought together the global type community for five unforgettable days of talks, workshops, and conversations in one of Europe’s most beautiful cities.

With over 100 sessions exploring AI in typography, global scripts, font tech, typography education, printing history, calligraphy, handwriting and much more, this year’s conference was a vibrant reflection of the evolving landscape of typography. We were honored to host three keynotes from leading practitioners in the field, and to welcome over 300 attendees from around the world.

The ATypI team is now hard at work editing the session videos—they’ll be released soon, so those who missed the event (or want to relive the best moments) can catch up online.

Our deep thanks go out to Sofie Beier and her colleagues for hosting us at the Royal Danish Academy—Architecture, Design, Conservation. A special highlight was the reception at Copenhagen City Hall, where we gathered in historic surroundings to celebrate our shared passion.

Thank you also to all our speakers, volunteers, and attendees for making ATypI Copenhagen such a success.

Year after year the ATypI conference manages to surprise and delight me in ways I could not even imagine. This year ATypI Copenhagen did not disappoint—the topics, presenters and attendees—all outstanding. I am already looking forward to next year with Stanford in the spring and Sharjah in the fall.
