Speaker Tomáš Hlava

Tomáš Hlava is a graphic designer from the Czech Republic, currently studying at the Yale School of Art (MFA ‘25). Tomáš graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam, (2023) and VOŠ Scholastika in Prague (2020). He works primarily with typographic systems across visual identities, book and editorial design. He is interested in, among other things, an amateur approach to typography and the narratives and histories the letters carry.
