Speaker John D. Berry

John D. Berry is an editor, typographer, design writer, & book designer in Seattle. He has been president of ATypI, editor of “U&lc,” art director for Copper Canyon Press and the Academy of American Poets, and program manager for the Microsoft Fonts team.

His books include “Language culture type,” “U&lc: influencing typography & design,” “Hanging by a serif,” and the forthcoming “Working with Words.”
