Speaker Hashim Padiyath

Hashim has a B Tech. in Computer Science and a Master of Design in Visual Communication from Industrial Design Centre, IIT Bombay. Working with C-DAC and Malayala Manorama, he developed the first set of original Malayalam digital typefaces in 1990s. Setting up his own design consultancy in Kochi in 1997, he had been consulting in various aspects of design for twenty years before the academic bug bit him again. After having taught at a few design schools in the country, he now heads Saintgits Design School, Kottayam while pursuing his PhD at NID (Ahmedabad).
