Speaker Ausra Lisauskiene

Prof. Ausra Lisauskiene is a calligrapher and a type designer. She graduated from Vilnius Academy of Arts and at present is working as a Head of Graphic Design Department. She is a member of the Lithuanian Graphic Designer Association and is ATypI’s Country Delegate for Lithuania. Her field of interest is a visual examination of the phenomenon of typography. She designs identities and communication systems for cultural events, exhibitions, creates typefaces, is an expert in the field of type design and typography. She is involved in a search for her own personal writing style, mainly using non-traditional tools and techniques.
