Free Flow Creation on Typography in Vector Art Applications

In vector art applications, hand drawn creativity is forte of every designer. There are many hand drawn fonts available in the market.

But currently, every user of that font is restricted to the hand drawn lettering designed by that font designer. Designers often want to customize type design or draw a whole new letter style, but face an overall broken experience with major problems like hampered text
editability as live text edit does not support custom changes in glyphs. Designers usually convert text into outlines and then use pencil tool to customize glyphs or draw new styles, but this destroys the entire power of text edit-ability.

In this session, two engineers from Adobe will present a unique system of selfmade hand drawn digital typography which allows designers to decorate live text with live hand drawn decorations, keeping text live and editable.
