Ian Hamilton Finlay, once a leading figure in the concrete poetry movement, relies on collaborators to realise concepts ranging from postcards and posters to inscriptions, sundials and other three dimensional works in his famous garden at Little Sparta and many public installations around the world. Michael Harvey has been a collaborator since 1970, and tells of his work with this challenging and sometimes controversial artist.
