ATypI is now accepting nominations for members interested in serving as a country/community delegate. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis.
The Association Typographique Internationale Inc. (ATypI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization incorporated in the State of California in the United States. ATypI is democratically run by a board elected by its members. ATypI is bound to operate by its bylaws and all laws and rules of California and the United States that govern nonprofit entities.
Becoming an ATypI country or community delegate is a fantastic way to get involved with our typographic community on a deeper level, and to promote innovation and the work of our members and peers. ATypI delegates are part of an international group of people who love type and work in typography and related fields. They are part of the ATypI tradition of supporting and elevating our field and those working in it.
ATypI CDs are dedicated volunteers who have demonstrated a passion for the typographic community, contributed to ATypI and its mission in the past, and wish to contribute in a more meaningful way.
If you are interested in being part of the ATypI CD team, we would be delighted to consider your application.
In order to be considered to represent your community in this program, you must:
• Be a current ATypI member in good standing, and you must have paid your membership dues. If you are not currently a paid member, please renew or join at the Pro, Enhanced, or Supporting level before you submit this form.
• Review the country and community delegate guidelines for details about expectations and responsibilities
• Read the ATypI code of conduct and agree to abide by its terms
• If you haven’t read it before, we hope you will familiarize yourself with the ATypI bylaws—the legal framework that serves as a blueprint for our operation as a nonprofit
If you are a member and you have reviewed the materials about ATypI and the CD program, we hope you will submit your self-nomination form. Once you submit this form, your information and the assets you provide may be published on the ATypI website and in other formats. Your submission will allow the CD selection team to make an informed decision in appointing the wonderful folks that will represent typographic communities around.
Please fill out this form and upload requested materials to be considered as a CD. The internationalization committee will review your application and be in touch regarding next steps.
